A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Residents;
We hope you have been enjoying the spring weather that we have had. Many people have been out walking in the community so please drive carefully.
Our swimming pool officially opens on April 15; the pool rules are printed on the reverse side. We recently converted the pool filtration system to a salt-based system which is more cost effective and healthier.
Please review your covenants regarding the following:
Homeowners must maintain the exterior of their homes and lots; i.e. Mowing and power washing.
No improvements to the exterior of your home made be initiated until your request is submitted
And approved by the Architectural Committee.
Dogs must be leashed at all times and you must clean up after them.
No signs are permitted in yards; “For Sale” signs may be displayed in a front window.
Trailers of any kind, boats, motorcycles and non-operational vehicles may not be kept in
Driveways.
There is no overnight street parking in IGE. Vehicles may be parked at the pool
WITH BOARD PERMISSION; others will be towed at your expense. During pool hours, only
Vehicles of pool patrons may be parked in the pool parking lot.
Homeowners in violation of the covenants will receive written notice. The Board may assess a fine for violations.
The IGE covenants are available in our web site; www.islandgreeneast.info or from any Board member. The web site is updated regularly with the latest community information.

Several of our ponds have been cleaned out and rip rap/gravel have been added to help prevent erosion. We also partnered with Island Green South with the clean-up of our pond and drainage ditch on St. Georges Lane. Please do not put debris of any kind in any of the drainage ditches.

REMINDER:
Residents are reminded that our covenants require routine property maintenance which includes cutting lawns, weed control, fountain maintenance, and power washing exterior of home.
There are some homeowners that are NOT cleaning the back of their homes.
Those homeowners who do not comply will have these services provided for them by the HOA at the home owner's expense.

Homeowner accounts that become 30 days past due
are subject to a $50 late fee;
and $50 late fee each month thereafter;

and loss of cable TV service
