President’s Letter

January 3, 2011

Dear Residents;

I hope you had an enjoyable holiday season and the New Year finds you happy and healthy.

As you know, we have not had an increase in our HOA dues for 4 years. Unfortunately due to rising costs the Board had no choice but to increase the dues by $5.00 per quarter.  The first HOA assessment for 2011 in the amount of $243 was due January 1, 2011.  A late fee of $50 will be assessed to all past due accounts on February 1, 2011

If you have not yet given me your e-mail address, please forward it to

Addresses will not be shared.

The seal coating of our roads was completed in November and I thank you for your cooperation.  Keep in mind that the black coating will eventually fade to a grayish color.  This is to be expected due to the exposure to the sun.  We are now on track with a regular maintenance program for our roads.

  DHEC has initiated new regulations for swimming pool filtration systems therefore; we will be converting to a salt system. The pool season has also been changed to April 15 through October 15.  Please remind your guests of our pool rules and regulations.

Overnight parking is allowed at the pool with permission from any Board member.   Unidentified vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.  All vehicles must be removed from the pool parking lot when the pool is open (8AM-10PM).  Thank you for your cooperation.

The Spring Fling Dinner Dance, featuring Sea Cruz, will take place on Sunday, March 6, 2011.  The cost is $20 per person and only 100 tickets will be sold.

Finally, I would like to welcome Chris Nolan to the Board of Directors as our Member at Large.  I would like to thank Val Sommers for his four years of service as a Board member.

Thank you for your support and I invite you to attend our meetings and social events. I look forward to another productive year as your President.

Sincerely,

Debbie Godman, President
